Dear Ranchers,

Here is the problem I am looking forward to get inputs from you all.

I have two struts applications which should act like a single application which means it should be able to share session variables. User may be navigate from one application another thru the menus provided in one application. He should not feel that there is two application running. And, one of my requirement is to show a page of application1 in the application 2. What I am currently thinking is making two war files into an ear this may share sessions and all. Expecting inputs from you guys.

You can't share session between web apps, but it sounds like you may benefit from a single sing-on solution; see the http://faq.javaranch.com/java/SecurityFaq for some links regarding that.
