A few months ago I have completed my SCJP exam and also have received the Welcome kit with my Certificate and an ID card. Now I would like to request for a Soft Copy of my SCJP Certificate. How can I request for it? Do I have to send an email to who2contact@sun.com? How long does it take for me to get the Soft Copy of my SCJP Certificate?

I have never heard of soft copies of the certificate. Just scan your certificate and you have a soft copy. There is no harm in asking though.

Hi Amit !

As far as I know, IBM provides soft copies of their certificates (as PDF file). And I never heard Sun provides soft copies. As was advised - just scan your hard copy. If need to proof of your certification, you can publish your cerfification from Sun's web site (just statement that you passed exam, not picture of your certificate).

regards,
MZ
