I was just browsing the Book-Reviews forum and found something which i could not understand.
The last poster (Anonymous) joined the ranch on 2008 but posted in that thread in 2004.webpage.


EDIT: I feel ranch office was the place to post this thread rather than here.

The "Anonymous" account is now used for all posts by members whose accounts have been deleted. But the account was created only during the move to the new forum software (which was in late 2008).

We don't, really. Most "deleted" accounts were those that had been closed in the old forum software, and which were not migrated to the new software; maybe "no longer existing accounts" would be a better phrase.
