Hi, I have just read chapter bout sending sms over wma. and...I do not really get it?!
I have used WMA Console as a second participant. I send sms from hpone emulator to this console, and vice versa. and it works fine.
But is the example of this sms in practice? I mean, I have send sms from emulator to console, but I do not get it what am I achieve by doing so?
What for I am using this way? Can I send from my application installed on one phone, an sms to the application on the second phone (just as I have done i simulation)?
Do I need a phone operator communication?I would appreciate if some one clarified to me this situation of using WMA.
No you don't need to communicate with phone operator. If you are just sending sms in you application without specifying
port other phone will receive it in native application, otherwise it will be received to your application on other phone.
Think you are clear now.

Well, I do not get it What network I am using, when my application send message using MessageConnection and and open url like:
When I perform this from the application installed on my phone, how the message is sent? Is this just sort of alternative of sending sms from phone, where just as if I used a native way of sms sending, the charge from phone operator (the network my phone is) will be the same? What is the differences from sending sms via application using WMA and sending a message using ordinary way, if charging of sms and its carrier network is the same???
