Ambiguous exam details or did I misunderstand them

Hi All,

I was thinking of appeaaring for SCJD and I read all the faq's at java ranch and all the other "beginner" threads in this forum but still I have a couple of concerns...

i)The time to complete the assignment is mentioned as a year on sun's official website
http://www.sun.com/training/catalog/courses/CX-310-252A.xml
Has this changed from being unlimited time or does this refer to the exam voucher
ii)The exam fees mentioned at the link above is $375 for the assignment and $200 for the assessment.
Everywhere in javaranch forum it said the fee was $200 for the assignment and $150 for the assessment.

Could anybody please clarify,

Hi Akmal,

i) check this thread. 1 year time limit is correct!

ii) seems to me that are correct prices. scjd assignment is more expensive than for example scjp 6 exam, because it has to be graded by a human being and not by computer (like the multiple choice questions).
