WAS referenced by two IHS. How to manage??

Hello friends,

I have an application residing in WAS6. Currently it is being referenced by the webserver IBM HTTP Server (IHS) version 6 for it to be accessed globally. Now they will be replacing the IHS6 with a newer version IHS7. This beta webserver will also reference the application in WAS6.

Now here's my question. If you go into the WAS Admin console and click Servers > Web Servers, you will be able to see a list of installed webservers. Clicking these items would allow you to change configuration settings of WAS' connection to the (IHS) webservers. Now in our case, doing that would list the IHS6 server but now will be connecting WAS to the IHS7 too. So how are we going to do that? Should there really be a "New" button in that section so you could add new webservers and manage them both? The problem is I couldn't see any "New" button in my admin console. ...or do I need to install another plugin and it would automatically be added to the webservers list?

I would appreciate any help you can give me.
I agree. Here's the link:
