No suitable driver found for jdbc:mysql://localhost:3007/navin

Either you don't have the MySQL JDBC driver files in your classpath or the URL is wrong. The URL looks ok to me so you must be missing the JDBC driver.

Thanks a lot paul

I have already kept the mysql connector (mysql-connector-java-3.1.14-bin.jar) in my lib.but still getting the same error.

May i know what is the reason for this?

Thanks in advance.

Like I said, there can only be two reasons for this, either you don't have the driver in your classpath or your URL is wrong. Check both carefully.
