Hi!

I tried to optimize this code by utilizing multiple threads, but the result (on a Core 2 Duo, two cores) is not satisfying.

Can anyone do a better job?

(I'll post my attempt later)

Can the memory allocation be optimized somehow? (that is what they do in C and C++ versions of this program, besides really simple and effective multithreading with OpenMP)

Regards,
David
