Global Investment Bank is looking for multiple hands-on Java (Core) programmers who are strong on the server-side. This is to work on a high-profile global e-trading application. This application is being built from scratch to retire two older systems. Requires strong application development and design experience using Java, J2EE and messaging software. Also, requires experience in implementation of high volume/performance and low latencies multi-threaded critical trading systems. There are 5 openings that must be filled before year-end. Compensation will consist of Base & Annual Bonus. Will consider relocation (from within the US) & must have a minimum of 2 years left on an H1 to be considered.

Must be Proficient in the entire software development lifecycle and be able to regularly play multiple roles within a project as needed

- Ability to handle multiple projects and with strong time management and prioritizing skills

- Requires experience developing High frequency real-time trading applications, preferably within an Electronic Trading environment

- Must be able to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to define business problems, analyze existing systems and propose, define, and execute appropriate solutions

- Core Java, FIX, J2EE development and design experience in the financial industry

- Experience in ION or any other vendor provided connectivity software (must have)

- Experience in design and development of high frequency & high volume eTrading application

- Experience in messaging protocols especially TibcoRV, MQ Series or JMS

- Knowledge of Perl or any other scripting knowledge would be a definite plus

- Thorough understanding of electronic connectivity to brokers, clients and ECNs

- Strong track record developing high performance multi-threaded server components

- Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering
