Just wondering, when did Sun changed from 72 question format to 60 questions total? I believe passing remains same as 58%.

You can get reliable info on sun's site here. Also I would recommend that you go for SCJP 6 i.e. 310-065 instead of SCJP 5. Read this thread to get more info about changes to the exam...
