I guess I'm serving as technical lead for a proposal to one of our clients and it makes a great oppurtunity to get some good experience with this phase of the SD process. Are there any Agile/XP books that cover this topic well?

Sure, although how you go about it may depend on which flavor of "agile" you're using.

Personally, I like user stories. Honestly, I'd just search the web first before springing for a book, but the web search will turn up the usual suspects on the printed realm anyway.

Hello. You can find a faster solution to learn about product discovery rather than reading a book about it. There are various high-quality articles on this topic on the net. For example, you can visit https://solveit.dev/blog/why-you-need-discovery-phase. In the article, we talk about the importance of the project discovery phase in the process of product development, its goals, steps, and deliverables.

Welcome to the Ranch

Is that your own blog, or the company's whom you work for?
