Thanks Sampath! In the book, I cover both the XML report definition format as well as the Java API for building reports dynamically.

Hi Will:
Welcome to JavaRanch. I am really anxious to find out what kind of information has been made available in this book. It would be nice if you could explain more about this book.
Regards,
Zahid

Hi Will,
I'm interesting in knowing whether/how the integration with olap engines to derive statistical reports based on the data obtained from Olap is provided by this API. Would also like to know if/how the hierarchical Dimension Graphs can be plotted alongwith the Cross-Tab reports. I'm really looking forward to know more about it
