Hi,
What is the meaning of pentaho data integration ?
Is it able to connect to different database at once ?

Thanks in advance,

From Pentaho's Site:

"Broad data source support including packaged applications, over 30 open source and proprietary database platforms, flat files, Excel documents, and more"

But I don't know if we can have two database or more working on the same time...

The answer isn't "Why", is "How"!

Pentaho Data Integration is one of the open source products we offer, and supports many different data sources. The product provides Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) capabilities. You can easily write a transformation that connects, merges, and creates a result from multiple databases and flat files at once. In Pentaho Reporting 3.5, you can connect directly to a transformation, making it possible to generate a report based on mulitple databases.
