Hi, Will. I have a simple question.
I'm used to create reports with Pentaho Reporting. How could I or other Pentaho Reporting users take advantage of your book?
What can I learn with the book that is difficult or impossible just by trying buttons in the designer or browsing the wiki or forum?
Thank you!
Maria Carina

Hi Maria,

There are a lot of things in the book that the only way you could learn otherwise would be looking at the source code. Most of the later chapters regarding APIs aren't documented outside of the book except for in source code. Also, the book is the first in-depth guide of all the properties available in a report and report elements. One page I'm very proud of in the book is the short-cut keys page :-). It saves me a lot of time developing reports knowing the short cuts.

Will

Thanks for your quick response.
It's good to know about these details.

With regard to the short-cut keys page, good idea! I've just added one in my incoming book =)
