Difficulty level difference between Exam 212-065 and Exam 310-065

Hi all,

There is an SAI version of SCJP 6 exam which is numbered as 212-065.

Now my previous experience with SCJA says that SAI SCJA was quite tough than the normal SCJA (I am taking into consideration the mock exams and exams from Mr. Cameron's books).

Is it the same with SCJP as well?

Has anyone given the SAI version of SCJP?

Please share your experience.

Are you referring to the upgrade exam ? Very few take that, so I am not sure how tough it is. The questions also changed recently, so the chances of knowing the difficulty range is hampered even more.

Do you have a preference over which one to take ?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think 212-065 is exactly the same as the normal SCJP 6 (310-065), just the price is different because it's for students or something similar.

212-065 is NOT the upgrade exam (the number of the normal SCJP 6 upgrade exam is 310-066).

Jasper, you are absolutely right. Its Sun Academic Initiative version of SCJP (for students). The objectives are all same. However, I wanted to get some information about difficulty level involved for that version of SCJP. Just wanted to check out if anyone from forum has given SAI SCJP. Perhaps, they can share their experience.
