Chapter 3 - MalformedByteSequenceException

Im trying to complete the HFJS Chapter 3 exercise but getting a 404 error. I have the same structure exactly as detailed in the chaper - called the app Juice-v1 instead of beer.

The tomcat session indicates there is a parse error in web.xml which has resulted in a MalformedByteSequenceException - screenshot and web.xml atached.

Can anyone give some pointers? My web.xml looks fine

I've also had a look at previous posts with similar problems but still unable to resolve this error.

I don't like the look of the quotes around your attribute values. Are they ordinary quote characters or did you make this document in Microsoft Word and paste it somewhere? If you did that then you probably have the so-called "smart quotes", which aren't acceptable for delimiting attribute values in XML.
