Hi I downloaded the new jasper 3.6 and ireport 3.6

Please help me how I can make the reports using these tools.

I'm looking to develop reports that can get data from my beans.

Please refer to some kind of tutorials or sample apps.

Well thank you, I actually tried it. But couldn't find any example where I could use beans for my report. Thats the only reason I stepped into this forum

for creating reports using ireport, you need to send in an arraylist<Object> with parameters and object-lists and call the buildReport() of the ireport API.

I may be able to provide you with better illustration if you can ask a more specific question.

Do you see a stack trace or any sort of error message in a log?

OK I FOUND THERE IS ONE LOG FILE FOR IREPORT. IT SHOULD BE IN (IN WINDOWS XP) C:\DOCS & SETTINGS\USER\.IREPORT\3.6.0\VAR\LOG
