Hello all!

It has been 5 weeks since I uploaded my SCJD assignment and still no results..I'm checking at "https://www.certmanager.net/sun_assignment/" to see if the results are out (almost every hour I'm refreshing ) but still nonthing..Should it be some kind of information that I have submitted the assignment because there is nonthing rather than my SCJP results.. I suppose that everything is OK since if they didn't had my assignment I would have failed by the time I gave the essay exam, is this correct? Thanks for the understanding!

Hi Nicolas,

5 weeks and no results, is still within the margin, because Sun says it takes 4-6 weeks for grading your assignment. In this database you should see already some events about your scjd-assignment. The url you are checking is the good one: the actual result will be mentioned there first (after 10 business days the cert database will be updated)

Your assignment is not graded until you took the essay exam, so you can't automatic fail until you took the essay exam. I send an email to the who2contact address to inform them I took the essay exam and ask if everything was well received.

Here is a thread with my experience with the different certification managers and database, and what I noticed when I was anxiously waiting for my result.

Certainly no harm in sending an email to the who2contact email address.

Kind regards,
Roel

Thanks Roel for the thread, it would have been certainly easier if they had a centralized site rather than having two differest. I have still one more week to get through and I hope that they'll be out soon..I got the same information message when I uploaded my assignment I was just curius if it should display something.

Once again thanks!

Hi Nicolas,

I submitted my assignment on Sep 1st and took the exam on Sep 4th. I still have no result .
I sent an email to who2contact after 5 weeks and they told me that my assignment was sent to the assessor on September 11, 2009 (1 week after the I took the exam. I really don't understand why). Anyway, for me this is the seventh week of waiting and it's really frustrating...

Regards,
Stefan

Hi stefan,

7 weeks??? This is unacceptable.. The least we except from Sun is to keep the timeframes, afterall we are paying them..I've sent an email yesterday too but still i've not received any answer and i'm not surprised.. It takes days for Sun to reply.. I hope we'll have our results soon

I have sent several mails to the who2contact email address and I always had an answer the next business day (taking the difference in time zones into account of course). But I have read several threads where the service provided by Sun is unacceptable, where emails sent by people (waiting on their results) are just ignored,...

Roel

7 week still no results! Honestly i'm getting frustated with sun..I've read another post where the results where out after 13 weeks!! I mean imagine if you are waiting for results all this time and you receive a Fail, during all this time the assignment could have been resubmitted.. I'm totaly disapointed with how sun operates and especially with their lack of feedback and their poorly designed system.. I've contacted again both sun and prometric to see what is going on...

Hi Nicolas,

Sorry to hear you are still waiting, I had to wait for just 4 weeks, so I know how you must feel after waiting almost twice that long

Maybe this thread can give you some inspiration to complain to Sun for their dreadful service (although you have to pay a lot of money).

Kind regards,
Roel
