Hi All,

Can Quartz be used without the help of Unix Crontab? If thats the case, How the scheduling is done?

Of course. It's just Java code so it can run anywhere.

And that's the answer to "how is the scheduling done" too. It's done by Java code.

No, Quartz can be run stand alone, see the Quartz documentation for details.
