Submitting form

I have single submit button in one of my form.
so i can use
just <html:submit> struts specific class and use
<html:form action="Lookup" name="lookupForm" type="wiley.LookupForm">
If i have four images << < > >> where
<< -- indicates first record
< -- previous and so on.
and this form also contains some hidden fields which have to be set to ActionForm

Now instead of <html:submit> i would prefer to go with java script.
If i go with javascript , how should i call the java script from <html:img> tag
and how i should specify, the "action", "name" and "type" in this case.
This is very urgent.
Thanks in advance.
