Coders at Work - Question

Hi Peter,

It looks great that some of the best of the best are interviewed in the book. How the interview carried out ? Did they presented a same set of questions ? Or arbitrary set of questions ?

All the interviews were done in person in two or three two-hour sessions. I had a basic list of questions which I'd then customize for each interviewee based on specific aspects of their work that I wanted to ask them about or specific topics that I thought they'd have particularly interesting insights about. And then during the interview I tried to have an actual conversation about things rather than just question, answer, question, answer.
