Hi,

I am having a problem in displaying the richfaces tree ...let us say i have a tree with 4 nodes added and when i first load the page it is displaying the rootnode only not the childrens under the node.when i click the expand button beside the root node then it is displaying the entire children. Can any body help me in displaying the childrens expanded at the first time of loading the page.

Thanks,
Venkat.

Take a look at the RichFaces user manual. They have an example where you specify what items are opened.

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
