server starts but cant access through ip address

hello,
i ve installed jboss as 5 on centos 5.3. i managed to start server but welcome page is only accessible if the url is http://localhost:8080/,
from the local machine also through ip address (eg- http://<ipaddress>:8080/) i m not able to view welcome page. and i want to access it remotely.
please help.
