Hi ,

I am working with struts redirect . I have got some confusion in understanding the concept .please help .

I have seen a lot of examples where the Author specifies type="redirect" when specified on to the Struts.xml file .

I am having a query here . Please tell me what is the advnatage we are getting when used type="redirect as shown below as the same behaviour can be also achivied without the type attribute

Thanks in advance .

No, it can't. The default result type is "dispatcher", unless the default is changed.

I'm begging you to read the Struts 2 documentation. Please.
