Hi all,
I passed SCWCD5 yesterday with 95%. It took me about 3 months.
My thanks to
: Kathy,Bryan and Bert for wonderful HFSJ. I read it thoroughly 2 times.
I must tell this that my love for Java started with another head first( HFJ).I did not know even J of Java before that.
: Hanumant Deshmukh for SCWCD Exam Study Kit.I read it for some topics.
: Mikalai Zaikin for wonderful notes.I almost felt like I am reading from specifications sometime.Really good.
: Frederic Esnault for wonderul revision notes.
: Marc Peabody for patterns. But I missed one question on patterns.
: Ashok Kumar Babu for API List.It is a great list.
: Enthware's simulator.
: Marcus Green for the mocks.
: Niko for the mocks.
: Whizlabs for their online trial mock exam.

And ofcourse: The wonderful Java Ranch and the ranchers including Christophe Verré ,Ankit Garg, Chinmaya.I almost
always found my doubts removed by just using the search feature. So i must thank all those people asking and answering
the questions. Its really nice feeling to be at this ranch.I thought earliar that i won't post my result. But then i thought that i must thank
all the people who taught me.
Thanks again.I hope to learn more here.

I can only tell what I did.

1)Take full night sleep. And if possible stop studying at 5 in evening of the previous day.

2)Eat healthy,stay healthy.

I have a problem that while in stress of some exam I get severe headache. This is from 2 years only.May be the wisdom tooth which is trying to make space in my small mouth is cause of it.Need to see the dentist I guess. In SCJP I started having severe headache just before the test and I even asked a peon at the prometric center to get me disprin. But he just convenientaly forgot. So this time i just took the medicine even before i got any headache. And now i am happy I did because headache statred appearing again when i was about to end the test. But on seeing score it vanished!
I know I made a big issue of my pain. But even till today I repent for not taking disprin before scjp6.I just wanted to share!

3)So, if someone has any such problem, take care before test.Because while in test they don't even allow water to take with you.

4)The test was easier than most mock exams.I got only 65 in HFSJ final mock(took one week before the test).
And it was definitely easier than SCJP.Or maybe just I was lucky to get easiar questions. There were no traps.Direct questions. And some time you can figure out the right answer by just reading the options because only the right one is syntax error free.
5) About prepration:
Have fun while learning new things and do coding to fix them onto your brain. And do some mocks.Thats all.
And ofcourse as everyone else would say --study for knowledge and not just for getting certifications.
