Does agile teams need more competent sw-developers than more "structured" approaches?

Hi everyone,

I think the subject line says it all: Do you think that in order to use an agile method (xp/scrum) with succes you need "over averag leveled" sw-developers?

What's your views/experiences?

References etc. will be appriciated.

Thanks in advance,

/Svend

To the contrary - Agile processes provide exactly that kind of meaningful, frequent feedback that the average team needs to accomplish the exceptional.
