SCWCD based on JAVA EE 6, is it still too far?

Hi everyone

I am curious about whether it is possible that SUN publishes soon, a new SCWCD based on JAVA EE 6, that includes JSF 2.0, Servlet 3.0,etc..

I’m planning to buy a voucher and to prepare SCWCD and I was wondering whether should I wait another few mounths to pass the new SCWCD 6..or pass the actual one.
Don’t you think that actual SCWCD(based on j2EE 1.4) is getting little bit old?

Thanks

All of these things are rumors only. You don't need to wait and there are no clear news from Sun about the next version of SCWCD. The only version which is currently available is SCWCD 5.0 (310-083) - that is for JavaEE 5.
IMO it is meaningless to wait for the newer version.

Dear ranchers, is there any chance that the new version will have been published by the end of this year?

No. It is highly unlikely they will have a new version any time soon.

SCWCD 1.4 may be old but the concepts are still very relevant to what everyone uses in the real world today

Is there a lot of changes between 310-081 and 310-083? I've got Manning book for SCWCD (published in 2005), is it actual today?
Thanks.
