I'm looking through the 1.3 documentation and it's really unfamiliar, I don't know what to look for or where it is. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Why are you still using JDK 1.3? It's quite outdated; there have been 3 major versions after it and number 4 (Java 7) is on its way.

I'm writing an agent for Notes 6.5.5. This is a really old version of Notes and it uses 1.3.

I could use MSXML through COM but I would prefer to avoid that as I haven't any control over what's installed on the server.
