Hi Guys ,,

I need to show and hide some items in the combo box in the JSP depending on the user name that the user used to log to the system , for example :

user 1 sees item1 , 2 , 3 only from the combo box .
user 2 sees item3 , 2 , 4 only .... etc

how can i archive this ?

Thanks,
Sherif

There are a lot of ways to achieve this. Personally, I'd only send the data to the JSP page the user is supposed to see, which means the logic for creating the viewable list resides in Java code.

There is no such thing as a "combo box" on the web. Please read this for more information.

Not at the moment -- using correct terminology ensures that we're all talking about the same thing.
