Issue while retrieving BLOB from ORACLE 9i, using Hibernate 3.0

In my application I am using Hibernate 3.0, Oracle 9i and JAVA 5.0. Here I want to store more than 4000 charecter in table column.
For that I used this mapping,

My POJO object have,


Using this code, I am able to save BLOB in table,



In my DAO, I am using this code,


but I cant retrive it. While fetching list, I am getting this error.

does using type="bytea" work ?

When I add type ="bytea" into hbm, I got this exception :
