Hi. Trying to make connection between Oracle db (Oracle 10g express) and java. But so far no good results.
i am getting this error. No suitable driver found for jdbcracle....

It is like this when you click button it fills the table with data (doing it for only test.)

Here is the code

I think the problem is DB name but i am not sure.
I just made the tables in Oracle. i couldnt see any Database name or like...

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
Uncomment the "Class.forName" line.
This would load the JDBC driver if it is appropriately put in the CLASSPATH.

you should specify the SID after port.

But the problem is actually driver manager can not find oracle driver.

It works now.
I had to add ojdbc14.jar to library of the project.
And have the Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"); in try and catch.

Thanks all..

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
