Avoiding page expiry

My Struts application shows a page that displays attributes got from an object (a travel Quotation) in the current session. The user can then click on a Print link which shows a slightly different version of the same attributes, but formatted for printing. However, hitting the back button on the browser to go back to the original display of Quotation data gives the classic "page expired" error in the browser. But my Quotation is in the session, so why would the page expire as soon as this printable page was loaded? Does anyone know of any tips about avoiding page expiry in Struts (or web apps in general)??
