Hi I would like to thank all those who helped me pass SCWCD 1.5 in this forum. Today I just completed SCWCD 1.5 with 89%.

Now the question is what next. How about SCBCD. (i.e EJB 3.0). Anything better available?

I just need some advise on what my next certification should be.

You can go for SCBCD or SCDJWS (web services) or SCMAD (mobile app) or SCEA (enterprise architect). Which one you go for depends upon your personal choice i.e. whether you like EJB or web services or JavaME or Enterprise Applications...

Congrats

I have also passed both these certifications, the second one 6 months back.
I wanted to take GMAT
M more keen about SCJD now.
Reason: Its not objective type, involves development.

It is more a personal choice. Most choose SCBCD from what I have seen

One clarification

Can I do SCEA without knowing much about EJB's.

And How much of web services is related to EJBs.

And another thing is SCEA is related to studying design patterns.

And how is the requirement for SCMAD(mobile application) in India. I don't see much requirements in J2ME in IT in India.

Clarification regarding these would be helpful.

And thanks Ankit, your replies to my earlier posts helped a lot

The SCEA has some questions that are related to EJBs, so yes you will have to know EJBs but an overview will be enough.

The requirement for SCMAD is not very high. It is probably the lowest of the lot
