From where can I download XSLT processor ?
I want to test some xml document by transforming them in html documents using xslt. I will need xslt processor for that. From where can I download this ?
When I am trying to download saxonhe9-2-0-3j from link "http://sourceforge.net/projects/saxon/files/Saxon-HE/9.2/saxonhe9-2-0-3j.zip/download" , I get two folders "doc", "notices" and saxon9he.jar file. Where is xslt processor in these ? which file shall I run ? Usually, when I download a software, I get "run" option to install the software.
I am not getting that in here. How to install this xslt processor ?
I tried to use saxon9he.jar by extracting it on the desktop. But its not working.

Is there other link available for xslt processor ?

thanks

That's true. But if you only want to use XSLT 1.0, then there's already an XSLT processor built into Java. You don't have to download anything. And if you're a beginner, then don't gallop off in all directions at once. Just use the built-in XSLT processor and move on to XSLT 2.0 once you know what you're doing.

How can I invoke this xslt processor which is inbuilt in java ?
To execute "javaExample" byte code, I need to execute it as "java javaExample" at the command line. Like that, if I have an xml file and an xslt, which transforms content of this xml into html, how can I invoke this xml and xslt at the command line to get the desired output html?

thanks

I think you need a genera XML and Java reference.

Fortunately Harold's monumental book is free and online. Here is his chapter on XSL Transformations.
