Welcome Jacquie. This will be a very handy topic for many. Especially, the beginners who are overwhelmed by number of technologies/frameworks.

Welcome Jacquie,

Welcome Jacquie.
Im sure this is going to be a very interesting topic at the time when we are really struggling to keep pace with the technology.

Is the gist of the book, 'get your basics right so that you can tame any technology'. If you can briefly explain(or list them in a few bullet points) the central point this book is trying to convey to the technologists, its going to be quite helpful.

Thanks in advance.

PS: Didn't see this book listed in Amazon.co.uk, why?

Hello, one and all!

Looks like we are supposed to take our Q & A to a different "thread" (this is a welcome thread only), so for those of you who asked substantive questions in this thread, I'll try to answer them elsewhere ... I'm going to start a new thread under the Jobs Discussion forum entitled "Taming the Technology Tidal Wave" ... please join me there!

Cheers,

Jacquie

Yes, welcome Jacquie. I read the back cover on Amazon and like the idea of the book. In these days, we all need as many confidence boosters as we can get, don't we? Regards,
