hi,

I have written a simple hello world web service using metro 2.0 and deployed in on tomcat 6 as a war file.

When start the tomcat. i can see the WSDL file from the following URL

http://192.168.0.99:8082/MetroHelloWorldService/HelloWorldService.wsdl

but when i tried to access the same using the following URL

http://192.168.0.99:8082/MetroHelloWorldService/HelloWorldService?wsdl

I am getting Http Status 404 Error.

I have used bellow command to generate service side stubs and WSDL file

wsgen -cp ./WEB-INF/classes com.india.service.HelloWorld -wsdl -keep -r . -s ./WEB-INF/src

can anybody help me out with this issue.

Thanks !!

Hi!
It seems like Metro is not working as it should with your web service.
Have you seen the following web page, which shows how to develop a web service using Metro and deploy it to Tomcat:
https://metro.dev.java.net/getting-started/basic.html
Best wishes!

Hey Ivan,

Thanks for the quick reply,

I missed to put the servlet and listener entry in deployment descriptor.

The service is running fine now...

Thanks a lot...
