is there a chat here on the JR besides the forum? i think that would be a cool thing any way.

Another issue is that a chat only benefits the folks who are there. Forums stick around, so that if a year from now someone has the same question, the answer is there for them to find.

this question probably belongs in the Ranch Office forum, so I'll move it there.
