I m mainly a java developer, and have an interview for an entry level QA position.
What should I know for that interview (US job)?

Thanks

Of course the code that you have written all these long would have been tested by the QA team in your company. So you might already be having some exposure on that. Isn't that?

Actually, I have been writing code for myself ( self-taught projects) and testing it, so I have no idea what does the QA guys have to do.

For starters, you should learn the differences between quality assurance and software testing, in my opinion.
If you told me that QA and testing were the same, then I most likely would quickly end the interview and say goodbye.

You should also have a good understand of what "quality" means in terms of software applications and organizations that use
software applications. What does it mean to "assure quality"? Does "quality" mean "it works" or is there more?

Good luck!
