Has anybody got JSF 1.2, Facelets 1.4, Trinidad 1.12 and Spring Security 1.2 working together?

Hi Guys,

Migrating a Struts / Spring project over to JSF 1.2.

Really need advice here.... (or preferably web.xml and faces-config.xml of working version )

I had SpringSecurity 1.2 , JSF Mojarra 1.2_12, Facelets 1.4 and Tomahawk 12-1 working together. I replaced Tomahawk with Trinidad 1.2.12 (configured it as stated).

My login page started to submit but acted as if the credentials had failed and returned me back to the login page whatever credentials i supplied (remember this was working without Trinidad).

I now intermittently get INFO: JSF1027: [/jsftrini] The ELResolvers for JSF were not registered with the JSP container.

I have only added the trinidad config to faces-config.xml and web.xml and the xmlns:tr to the jsf files as required.

If I take out the default-render-kit-id, security works, but of course, trinidad doesn't

The stack trace for the error is at the end.

It strikes me that Trinidad renderkit seems to be interfering with spring security lifecycle, but don't seem to be able to trace a cause....

Stack Trace

Look, this is driving me nuts, can anybody shed any light, or at least offer me encouragement the JSF, Facelets and Trinidad is valid for use with Spring Security...
