i get the following error in "Struts 2" when i run my application in Netbeans 6.1 ->
The requested resource (/struts2tutorial/) is not available.

when i run the same application on tomcat without NetBeans 6.1 , it runs perfectly.

What may be the reason?

You've not provided enough information for us to be able to help you. How did you configure the project in netbeans?? Did you add the required libraries for struts in netbeans?? Also when you deploy using netbeans, the tomcat logs will contain a stack trace of actual error that came on deployment. You can see the error in the Tomcat tab of netbeans. Post that stack trace here, the'll help us see the actual problem...

i have taken all the libraries required for struts2 ....nothing is getting displayed in the tomcat log files in netbeans 6.1
