Hi,
Just wondering did anyone decide to implement a stop server button for the server and is it necessary? I can imagine it could be quite complex. Is it enough to have a screen with buttons to allow:
(1)server to be started on a particular port
(2)server to be terminated.
Thanks.

Hi Mark,

It all depends on how your server application looks like. Mine has its own GUI, so 2 input fields (database location and port number) and 2 buttons (one to start server and one to exit application = stop server and close server application).
The great Roberto Perillo has no windows and then you have to push Ctrl+C (in console window) to stop the server.

Kind regards,
Roel

Cheers Roel, thanks for your prompt reply. I've the same approach as you, didn't make sense to implement stop server functionality anyway, I reckon.
