if a web page has javascipt code then would it be executed before submitting the form using HttpURlConnection?

No. URLConnection is an HTTP library, not a web browser - it knows nothing about JavaScript.

Ulf is right. It is the HTML rendering engine (inside your browser usually) that executes the JavaScript.
