Hello all, I'm new to iPhone development. I got the "iPhone in Action" book and trying those objective-C apps inside. One of them is loading a URL when the app is run. Now I just wondering if I can have say a text field allowing users to enter a URL then launch the page?

It's currently a window-based app, no view controllers stuff. I'm wondering if I need a controller for this. Or should I create a new type of app like navigation app to make this easier?

Well no matter what, you need a controller for any view. You can create the view programatically, but you hook up the UI stuff to the controller to handle your actions.

Hope that makes sense.
