How to get the achieve Version of deployed webservices

Hello,

I'm deploying the webservices in Weblogic 10g3 using the WLST scripts. I need to confirm whether I have deployed the right version of webservice.
So I need to print the achieve version in the console of WLST while deploying.

How I can get the archive version using WLST script from Manifest file or WEB.xml file.

Any way to do that???

Thanks in Advance

How are you saving this version ? Inside the manifest / web.xml / a properties file ?

Hi Deepak,

I'm having the archive version in Manifest file and also I am having it in WEB.XML under

<context-param>
<description>Application Version</description>
<param-name>AppVersion</param-name>
<param-value>02_00_02</param-value>
</context-param>

Please let me know how I can access it.

How about using an XML ant task that will read the XML and print out the value ? Something similar to what is done here

I am not sure if WLST can call ant build.xml. Or you could write a small python script to do this.
