Should I learn Struts 1.X or Struts 2.X?

Hi folks,

I am going to learn Struts.

But wondering which Struts version is better?

Is version 2 definitely better than version 1? is it worth spending time with struts 1?

Depends. If you can avoid Struts 1, I would--but a lot of companies have Struts 1 apps (and, puzzlingly, create new Struts 1 apps). Struts 2 is far, far cleaner, but also used much less--there are so many other options now that it's not as much of a "no-brainer" to go with Struts like it was once.
