There are quite a few. I would advice you to read Pro EJB 3 which covers the core JPA specification.

I suggest you, Spring Persistence with Hibernate (Packt Publishing), that teaches you Hibernate with JPA with simple and comprehensive examples. With this book, you can also learn Spring integration since Hibernate is almost used with Spring. Here, you can find more about this book: Spring Persistence with Hibernate, By Ahmad Reza Seddighi

Also for just the Hibernate specifics : Java Persistence with Hibernate by Bauer & King - ISBN : 1-932394-88-5.

If you're using Spring in addition to Hibernate I'd suggest you at least review some of the other books mentioned as Spring does have some issues with the session context and object proxying you'll need to be aware of.
