Guys,

I am currently a software engineer in Java field. but I want to try a new field called Modeling. To back my decision here are the points.

  • I have photogenic face. (I have come across various people telling me this and I also believe this.)
  • I am in good shape. (have muscular body and trying to get into perfect shape.)
  • I don't know acting but I can learn.

  • But I don't have good height. I am only 5'6". So I can not be Ramp Model (Fashion Industry) but I think I can be a Product Model. I am very desperate about this.

I know this may not be the best website to ask but still does anybody belong to modeling here? Do you have any suggestion that can help me making this move? to boost my decision?

PS : I am not going to leave my current field.

    Thanks.

Really?!? And are these same people also offering to help you? Say help you get head shots (or a portfolio) done? All for a small fee, of course.

Don't know how it is where you are, but it is a somewhat common scam here. It is amazing how much money people are willing to fork over, when they are told that they can be the next supermodel -- flattery is a pretty strong weapon.

    +1

Note: This has english subtitles, but might be out of context to non Indian users. This is a clip from a most hilarious film, Andaz Apna Apna.
