How to use Servlet 3.0?

The Servlet API 3.0 specification is almost final and the Tomcat and Jetty teams working on its implementation. Are these implementations ready for playing with them? The background is that I want to develop a thin layer above Servlets and some new features would be very useful to me. But if the Servlet 3.0 implementations would be too far away from production quality (and completeness), I'd stick with Servlet 2.5 and write some workarounds in the meantime.

The reference implementation for Servlets 3.0 is GlassFish, and GF 3 Preview supports Servlets 3.0. According to the schedule, the final release should happen this week.

Thank you! It is correct that GlassFish uses the Grizzly Servlet Container? Wikipedia says GlassFish would use a derivative from Tomcat with Grizzly added to it. It looks like this is only available with GlassFish. But maybe GlassFish would be a good choice.
