This week's book giveaway is in the General Computing forum. We're giving away four copies of Arduino in Action and have Martin Evans, Joshua Noble, and Jordan Hochenbaum on-line! See this thread for details.
There's a lot of traffic about Glassfish in the section "other" under Products.
I propose that Glassfish gets its own section, along with JBoss, BEA, etc.
I see about 20 topics mentioning GF in the last 3 months, 10 of which were in the last 30 days - I wouldn't exactly call that "a lot". While I would expect traffic to pick up - what with the imminent release of GF 3, and its new status as servlet container reference implementation- we don't seem to be there yet. Am I missing something?
Perhaps this: with its own subsection, traffic would most likely increase to levels comparable to the other JEE frameworks. Causality vs correlation; chicken or egg.
We tend to let the traffic determine what forums we create. almost always, when we create a forum hoping it generates traffic, there isn't any, and the forum quietly dies.
just speaking from past experience.
