so i put off giving the exam twice earlier , cause of posts on forum / mock test results etc

finally i gave it today , under pressure and having studied 2-3 days (interviews coming up)
i achieved a modest 70% but there were lots of questions that were silly(some basic assertion,wrapping and comparator ones) and i certainly
couldve solved them earlier when i had studied a lot , but its all
i got 50% in generics and very low in API too as i didnt revise enough ( no time ) but rest all were pretty good

so if you are planning to give it anytime soon , my advice :

1. read K&B SCJP , especially the black boxes and gotchas in each chapter, exactly the kind of things you have to apply in the exam
2. ExamLab (true to its word , get 60% == 90% in main exam , get 40 = 70% in main exam(my case exactly)
3. Do LearnKey MasterExam , but be thorough with K&B, thats a priority cause the things in the book are what you will have to apply in the main test
4. iRix was helpful too
5. its not that hard , just be confident and ready with all your concepts

2 interviews failed cause of not having SCJP ( and counting...)
not anymore !

SCJP 6 (70%)

now ready to count other reasons :P...
